Minecraft Dungeons 2 Creatively Builds on Its Predecessors' Solid Foundations, Expanding the World of Minecraft for Players Of The Original Game, Too 1

Minecraft Dungeons 2 is a long-anticipated sequel to the well-received Minecraft Dungeons from 2020, which also gave rise to Minecraft Dungeons Arcade (a personal favourite of mine). A significant expansion on the first game, it will boast a more open world than the last, more linear one, plus more looting, more adventure, and, best of all, a whole new dimension: The Sift.

The Sift is Minecraft Dungeons 2's big selling point, a new, beautiful, uncharted dimension that is flooded with enemies and threats that only you (and your friends) can defeat. Customise your character to combat the mysterious threats that dwell within the Sift and "Brave the unknown" as you venture deeper and discover more that lurks inside.

The Sift isn't exclusive to Minecraft Dungeons 2, though; it will also come to the main Minecraft game as a new dimension everyone has been begging for (and that I am personally very excited about). The unknowns of the Sift aren't the only threat, however, as the villainous Illagers are also back again, corrupting and destroying the world as they go; stop them or lose your world to the corruption forever.

Akin to the first game, Minecraft Dungeons 2 will include a large amount of weapons, legendary armours, and artefacts that all enhance your gameplay and build, letting you create a character that is custom to you and how you want to play.

Minecraft Dungeons 2 is a great addition to the Minecraft franchise following Minecraft Legends, and I am personally really happy to see Microsoft continue to develop the Minecraft world outside the main game.

If you are a fan of Minecraft, or are just getting into it, and think that Minecraft Dungeons 2 looks great in all its blocky glory, then head over to Steam, and you can get it for 24 emeralds... I mean £24.99. Ahem.
