Only three days in, and we're already getting weird - I did warn you! The next leg in our our Autumn Sale 2026 coverage is a more esoteric slice of gaming. Ten discounted games that take Golf as you know it, and do it very wrong. Or right, depending on how much you like or dislike the sport - they're also the reason I keep buying golf games, despite not being able to stand the sport. No restrictions here other than 'Golf' and 'Weird', so let's take a swing and see where we land:

Normal Golf Game PC

20% Discount - A brand new release, but with a respectable little discount. Check out our full piece on the game here, but the long and short of it is that the developer of Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja (canon!) wants you to solve problems for him. With golf. From taking down old signage to solving puzzles and entering codes on giant keypads, everything has to be done by smacking a golf ball into things. Which would be tricky enough, but this game also has the single most mind-bendingly complex Golf control system known to man. Weirdly compelling, though.

4D Golf PC

35% Discount - Golf is tricky enough in three dimensions. This mind-shattering game asks you to play mini-golf on a four-dimensional hyperplane, able to aim your shots across X, Y, Z and [ERROR] axes. It's honestly a great introduction to the concept of four-dimensional space, and has a good range of tools to help you visualize and navigate these courses. At least up until they start adding multi-directional gravity and teleporters. And I won't spoil what happens later on, but you are not ready. There's hundreds of user-made coursed for this one too in the Workshop!

100ft Robot Golf PC

80% Discount - Not the deepest or most refined of golf games, but sometimes you just want to see a developer commit to the bit. The title says it all. Giant anime mechs playing golf, smashing through buildings and smacking each other with their clubs as they race to get the ball to the hole. It can be a bit wonky, but it's cheap, cheerful and (most importantly) carried by the frequently very funny commentary track, coming from the McElroy family of Monster Factory and My Brother, My Brother and Me infamy.

The Last Golfer PC

50% Discount - This one is a gem, and just tragically undersold. You are a maintenance robot, fixing chains of probes across a hostile planet surface by putting your energy core ball into each machine. Sure, you could probably just pick up the ball and deliver it normally, but where's the fun in that? On top of the golfing mechanics being surprisingly solid here, you've got to contend with hostile machines and even some boss battles, using your handy shield system and ability to throw your clubs like boomerangs. It sounds pretty wacky, but it's a surprisingly atmospheric, lonely adventure.

Mini Mini Golf Golf PC

35% Discount - One of a kind experimental narrative game about love, careers, geoengineering, climate collapse and videogame design podcasts, all wrapped up in the mechanics of mini-golf. Putt your way through an ever-morphing environment, unraveling the dramas and events of a parallel timeline. At least, when you're not watching the whole series of deep-dive game design FMV series built into the game, which are also somehow part of the story. There's a sequel in the works too, which is a cyberpunk detective mystery instead of a golf game.

Turbo Golf Racing PC

82% Discount - Best played with friends, and it should be easy to rope them in at this price. This is Rocket League meets golf. Control zippy RC cars and blast the ball across dozens of complex, multi-level courses. It's plenty good even played solo, but once you get a few extra players on the course, things get special.

Putt Down PC

75% Discount - What if Saw was about a funny serial killer that was really obsessed with minigolf? Putt Down is a short but replayable, panicky randomized survival horror experience about escaping a deadly game of mini-golf. But you've not got a club here - you've got a shotgun. You can either putt using the stock of the gun, or blast the ball directly where you want it to go with a quick pull of the trigger. You'll want to save some of that ammo for the murderous golf-monsters roaming the course though. A nerve-wracking experience, despite the silly concept.

Super Battle Golf PC

35% Discount - Not a huge discount, but this multiplayer hit is well worth a mention. The basic concept of golf here is intact: Use your club to knock the ball into the hole. But the idea of taking turns? Gone. As are any restrictions on cartoon violence, as you blow up, run over, freeze or shoot your rivals to stall them long enough to get you a little closer to the hole. You'll want to bring friends for this one, but it's a riot of a time, recently added a whole second city-themed map, and there's Workshop modding support coming soon.

Dungeon Golf PC

85% Discount - Even dungeon crawling isn't immune to the siren song of golfing. This class-based golfing game has you tussling with monsters as you work your way to the hole. Earn extra swings by hitting monsters, lose shots by getting clobbered yourself. Each of the characters has power and accuracy stats, plus two special abilities, like the skeleton guy that can throw his leg at monsters (or other players) as a free attack, or charge up to lob his head somewhere and teleport to that destination. On top of the expected multiplayer shenanigans, this one has a surprisingly beefy solo quest mode.

WHAT THE GOLF? PC

66% Discount - And last, one of the best, funniest games to ever goof around with the concept of golf. Line up that perfect shot, charge your swing, and watch as your golfer flies towards the hole. Or maybe your ball shoots a Spider-Man like rope and swings towards the location. Or you find yourself in control of the hole itself, trying to chase an elusive ball. Every level is like a miniature comedy skit with surprisingly involved gameplay. While not a massive game at launch, this one has seen MANY free expansions, and has user-made content too. Just a great time all round.

So, do you reckon we're green? Or were our picks rougher than you'd like? Whether this was your particular flavor of gaming, you should check out our Autumn Sale 2026 hub for more deals past, present and future. Hope you're having a great weekend, and let us know if you snagged any of these oddball games.
