We're heading into the weekend, and continuing our our Autumn Sale 2026 coverage with a spotlight on big discounts across the indie games that we reckon everyone should own. With a minimum discount of 60% (and ideally better), and big breakout hit energy, these ones might be well-known but if you've missed out on any of them, now's the chance to strike! And so... the games:

CrossCode PC

80% Discount - For sheer bang-for-buck, this might be one of the best games you can pick up. Crosscode is a fantastic, story-driven action RPG set in a far-future MMO where people remote-control physical avatar bodies through a Phantasy Star-esque theme park world. No slow grinding here, just high-speed arcade combat, like an amped-up Terranigma, with some real brain-teasing puzzle dungeons. The one piece of major DLC (A New Home) adds a lengthy epilogue to the game, it'll take you weeks to get to that point.

Cruelty Squad PC

90% Discount - A real sicko's pick, but at this price, it can't hurt to take the risk. It looks and sounds like an early Rainbow Six game that fell into a vat of radioactive MSPaint and came out all lumpy and depressed. It plays like a twitchy immersive sim nightmare set in a hyper-capitalist world where death is a financial irritation and murder is just a business disciplinary policy. Hugely replayable missions, tons of unlockable biopunk gadgets and a rabbit-hole of secrets to explore. Who can say no to navigating a capitalist hellscape using a grappling-hook appendix and a double-jump that launches excess bio-waste out of your legs?

Pyre PC

80% Discount - Everyone knows about Hades, but my Supergiant game of choice is this one. A high-fantasy interactive sports drama about a 3v3 Wizard Basketball league in hell. Gorgeous art, creative gameplay and one of the most reactive, excitingly branching stories in games. Win or lose, the story continues no matter what, often in exciting directions. My advice is to crank the difficulty up until you're sweating every single match, and roll with the punches, and you'll get a new story every time you play. Plus, there's a talking dog with a mustache, and yes, he can play ball. There's no rule saying he can't!

Library Of Ruina PC

66% Discount - One of the smaller discounts here, but you will absolutely get your money's worth. Before they rolled out literary gacha mega-hit Limbus Company, Korean indie outfit Project Moon made this truly unique RPG. You are in charge of running a cursed library in a dystopian mega-city, luring in the unwitting with promises of forbidden knowledge, then dispatching your librarians to cut down the guests to turn into new books. How do you do this? Through one of the most complex card-battle systems ever. It's like 5v5 simultaneous-turn Magic The Gathering. What starts simple escalates into some truly epic boss fights, some of which can take upwards of half an hour. And that's even before touching the many THOUSANDS of mods adding new characters, cards and story arcs.

Assault Android Cactus+ PC

80% Discount - Over a decade old, but this is still one of the best twin-stick shooters of all time, looking and feeling like some long-lost Dreamcast classic that only surfaced years late. Hugely varied levels that warp and morph around you, a bunch of characters that play radically different from each other and an amazing high-energy soundtrack. It's absolutely bursting with features, ranging from bots to let you play co-op solo, to a fully remixed New Game+ mode, and even a first-person toggle. The only complaint I can level at this one is that it doesn't have native online multiplayer, just Remote Play support.

Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition PC

90% Discount - Massive savings on emotional obliteration this week! Spiritfarer is a beautiful, heart-wrenching, cozy game about ferrying the dead on one last all-exclusive cruise tour before their final stop in the afterlife. Build your ship to be the coziest of spots, get to know your guests and hear their final thoughts and wishes, then prepare for that final moment where you have to say farewell. Great animation, remarkably involved gameplay and a great concept all add up to an experience like nothing else.

Noita PC

60% Discount - The smallest discount here, but arguably an infinite action-roguelike. A best-of-Finnish-indies collaboration including the developers of Baba Is You and The Swapper, you are a wizard exploring a vast underground ruin. Every single pixel of the game world (creatures included) is physically modelled, and spells can destroy, move, burn, freeze, cut or just explode anything. Collect wands, fill them with spell components and create incredibly varied tools. And then do the same with potions and the shockingly complex alchemy system. Also has plenty of mods, and some DEEP secrets that the community are still figuring out over six years after launch.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker PC

70% Discount - There has been an explosion of 'terrible job simulators' recently, but most of them are a little bit lightweight and janky. Hardspace: Shipbreaker is fully committed to feel like you're an underpaid, hugely-indebted, easily-cloned worker tasked with stripping spacecraft down to their bones and recycling every part. It's stressful, intense and complicated, but remarkably compelling stuff, especially when you start dealing with pressurized areas, volatile fuel tanks and sensitive reactors. If nothing else, it'll make you appreciate just how much care NASA takes with their astronauts. Space can be a very dangerous place.

Celeste PC

75% Discount - One of the best, most influential precision platformers around, but playable by just about anyone thanks to some wonderful, granular accessibility options. Whatever your skill level, you'll have a great time scaling this cursed, haunted mountain. With an emotionally resonant story, gorgeous pixel art, a fantastic soundtrack and endlessly creative level design, this one will keep you going for ages. And then an eternity more, if you snag the Everest mod-loader. There are THOUSANDS of mods for the game, some of them being community collabs that absolutely dwarf the original game in both scope and complexity. You could play nothing but Celeste for years and still not run out of new stuff to see.

Hypnospace Outlaw PC

75% Discount - And wrapping up for today's sales picks with a game like no other. Hypnospace Outlaw is about being an internet content moderator in an alternate '90s world where technology took a weird turn and people can browse the chunky, AOL-styled web in their sleep. While there's some big overarching mysteries to solve and some really cool twists I don't want to spoil, most of the game is just about exploring a parallel internet, learning about this slightly-wrong universe's subcultures and nerds. The only thing wrong with the game isn't even wrong with the game - it's that the sequel, Dreamsettler, was tragically cancelled. But at least we got a weird, gleefully stupid FPS spinoff.

That should be enough to get you rolling into the weekend! But sales never sleep, so we've got more discounts coming on Saturday and Sunday. Circle back to our Autumn Sale 2026 hub for everything as it happens! Have good one, and let us know your all-time favorites in the comments below.
