Welcome! We're kicking off our Autumn Sale 2026 coverage with a quick roundup of five of this year's best that you can now get for very reasonable prices. Simple rules today - they've got to be from our Steam Hype Playlist (our monthly roundups of the best games to hit Steam), and they've got to be at least 35% discounted. Simple and clean. Let's see what's on offer today:

ENDLESS Legend 2 PC

50% Discount - One of the best 4X strategy games in years, launched out of early access just a few weeks ago, and already going cheap. Don't miss out on this one. It pairs the familiar hex-based strategy of classic Civilization games with a fantastic science-fantasy setting where every faction feels truly unique to play as or against.

shapez 2 - Factory PC

50% Discount - Another big cut, this time on the factory-building time-sponge that is Shapez 2. No story here, no looming threats, no ecological collapse to worry about. Just you, an ever-hungering cosmic hole and your ability to create optimized space-factories to feed it the shapes that it desires. It sounds simple, until you feel that itch in the back of your mind, asking 'Couldn't I have built that part better?'. And then you tear it all up and do it better. And again, better still. Before you know it, you're lost to the world.

Marathon PC

40% Discount - It might not have been the mega-hit Bungie were hoping for, but I still consider this one of the most exciting, stylish and tense extraction shooters out there, even if it's nowhere near as hostile or punishing as Escape From Tarkov. Pilot proxy bodies through a haunted offworld colony, doing sketchy jobs for corporations and jacking other teams for their loot. There's more PvE content planned and coming soon, too.

Escape from Ever After PC

35% Discount - The smallest discount here, but on a surprisingly beefy game. Escape From Ever After might be the best tribute to the classic Paper Mario series around, finding a fun new reason for the characters to be paper-thin (in style, but not writing) - they're characters from storybooks. Storybooks that your dimension-hopping corporation is here to exploit for their resources. At least until you start plotting against the company. A deeply charming RPG start to finish.

Terra Invicta PC

50% Discounted - And a deep discount too on one of the most intimidating, involving strategy games released this year. Terra Invicta is developed by the team who made the Long War mods for XCom 1 & 2. You're not getting squad tactics here, but the setting is similar: This is ultra-detailed grand strategy, as you pick one of many clashing ideologies (ranging from 'nuke all aliens' to 'worship the invaders as gods') and try to maneuver your clandestine force to become Earth's de-facto leadership. And THEN you get into space combat, which is a whole other orbital kettle of fish.

And that's today's lineup! Check back tomorrow for more choice discounts, and make sure to peruse our Autumn Sale 2026 hub for everything as it happens! Peace out, and let us know if you snagged anything we suggested, eh?
