Who needs the World Cup when you've got the Nerd Olympics? It's Summer Games Done Quick time, the somewhat sweatier showcase of speedrunning supremacy. Kicking off on last Sunday afternoon and running 24/7 all week long, raising money for Doctors Without Borders live on Twitch.

With major events running every Winter and Summer (usually raising upwards of a million dollars for charity), Games Done Quick is one of my favorite gaming events of the year. Seeing games demolished in mere minutes by some incredibly talented players is always fun, but GDQ events are just as much about the commentary, crowd and energy. It's just such a positive, inclusive show, and in recent years, an increasingly great showcase of undersung indie games.

And you can grab a bunch of them cheap. As is now common for GDQ events, there's an official collection of Steam games featured in the show available on Humble Bundle. For a minimum of £11.84 for every game (even cheaper than in the Summer Sale) there's eight great indie picks plus discounts on a couple more mainstream titles.
