Fangs, Konami! This Castlevania Steam Sale Is Bloody Good

Konami's Castlevania just turned 40, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, Konami has hacked (and slashed) the prices for a whole bunch of games from the series on Steam.

If you're keen to experience the games that started it all, you can pick up the Castlevania Anniversary Collection at 80% off its typical sale price. This collection includes the NES trilogy, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania Bloodlines, Castlevania: The Adventure, Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge and Kid Dracula.

The Castlevania Advance Collection, which pulls together the GBA entries (Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow), is 70% off, while the more recent Castlevania Dominus Collection (made up of the DS titles Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia, as well as a remade Haunted Castle) has seen its price cut by 50%.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD (a port of the 3DS game) is 80% off (that's just £1.99 if you're in the UK), while Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 are also reduced by 80%. The DLC for Lords of Shadow 2 is also on sale.

All of this ties rather neatly into the fact that a new Castlevania launches next month in the form of Belmont's Curse, which you can pre-order now.
