Control, I'm Not Coming Back is an emotional, inspiring journey across the expansive universe, exploring not only far-off planets but also what it means to be human against all odds in a world that can be so harsh.

Despite its 45-minute runtime, Control, I’m Not Coming Back captures the essence of hope perfectly, placing you in situations that seem impossible to escape while giving you the motivation you need to keep moving forward. It is an amazing experience – and one that, at its core, desperately wants to show you the beauty of the world we all inhabit, and does this immaculately through the space-bound journey it takes you on.

It's hard not to feel awe, thanks to the breathtaking world and unusual but memorable character designs across the various celestial bodies you travel through. From pink forests to Saturn's rings, meeting Voyager 1, crossing paths with Major Tom, and a wise old talking tree... these various areas and characters really make a lasting impression on you with just how amazingly they are designed, portrayed and scripted.

Each character offers some form of motivation, and all are compelling in their own way – even if you only get to spend a small amount of time with them. They're constantly reminding you of the hope and beauty there still is in the world, even with the struggle that you will undergo – and that "what we’re gonna do next" is a more important sentiment than what has happened in the past.

I couldn’t talk about Control: I’m Not Coming Back without mentioning the superb soundtrack that punctuates the journey; it feels quintessentially sci-fi while also filling you with hope for the future, especially when coupled with so many supportive characters.

Control: I’m Not Coming Back is truly a special game, and after playing it, I can say that there really isn't anything like it out there; it's a unique experience that you would be doing yourself a disservice not to play, – and given that it's free, there's zero excuse not to give it a go.
