With Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation being announced earlier this year, many fans of the anime, manga and alike (myself included) have been eagerly awaiting any more information on Vampire Survivors developer poncle’s new Jujutsu Kaisen-themed “survivor royale”

My hopes were granted recently as Shueisha Games dropped key art featuring new illustrations by Mappa and revealed that 2 new characters will appear as bosses: Kenjaku and Naoya Zen’in, along with more information on how and when you can get your hands on the game.

Kenjaku and Naoya are well-known antagonists from the anime and manga of Jujutsu Kaisen, with Kenjaku being the main villain and mastermind behind the harrowing events of the story, and Naoya being introduced later on during season 3 as a smaller, but no less interesting, villain.

They will join the 10 confirmed characters as bosses for players to defeat while they build up their power to eventually challenge each other in a way similar to a battle royale, except it is in the style of Vampire Survivors.

Along with this, it has also been announced that you will be able to play Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survivation at Tokyo Game Show starting September 17th, letting you experience the first public test build that has been shown. As a fan of the show and books, I am personally very happy with these announcements.

Although there's no exact release date, we know Jujutsu Kaisen Rumble: Survival is confirmed to launch this year, with the price still to be announced.
