Re: 'It Was the Start of an Unforgettable Path' - Witcher and Cyberpunk Studio CD Projekt Pays Tribute to the Fallen BioWare

@species I'd argue that if Bioware had been able to choose it's own projects, then the games would have sold. But EA gave them bad projects, underfunded projects, rushed projects, and those projects turned out bad.

This is what happens when a studio get bought out, they get told what to do. That's what it means. The publisher/owner gets the blame AND the credit.

I ... I suppose it's sad to lose a familiar name, but Bioware haven't been the Bioware we all liked for... jeez, 10 or 15 years now? This boat sailed a very, very long time ago chaps. I must admit it's a little dispiriting to see so much mourning for Bioware and EA (EA is still alive, it's true) whereas they've bought NOTHING to the table for a very, VERY long time now, and there are new studios with these old Bioware people working there, AND they're making new games, exciting new games, one of them is a new game just like Mass Effect, but it gets barely any coverage.

It seems all people are interested in is pretending that Bioware was ever gonna give us anything good ever again and was in fact, firing on all cylinders until the cruel Saudi operators tore it away from us.

And that's just not true, why are we pretending this is true? There is SO MUCH MORE OUT THERE and we're just fixated on this old, has been, washed up, yesterday label of Bioware it's so sad and depressing.
