Id have an issue with this if this would be the only mode going forward. I think Embark are doing the right thing by giving players the option to try both. Atleast with PVE mode on, you can play without getting ratted by cheaters and all your high level stuff stolen in an instant.
If only more games chose this pay once, unlock it all model! What a breath of fresh air. Sucks when they shut the servers and the game is gone forever. I really used to enjoy Star Wars: Force Arena and Evangelion: Battlegrounds.

Lossless Scaling and OptiScaler (FSR 4.1) make the game enjoyably playable on Steam Deck.
I've been having a great time. Am Level 11 so far and am making quite a name for myself if you catch my drift
