The Magus Circle is clearly inspired by Vampire Survivors, but instead of attacks triggering without your input, The Magus Circle uses art as magic and as your means to defeat hordes of supernatural beings. You draw runes to cast various spells mid-battle as you frantically try to escape death and save the world in the process.

Dive into massive battles to protect "humanity's greatest ally" in the cosmic war, The Magus Circle, across 4 different planets, embodying one of the 6 different mages of the circle, against hordes of enemies while utilising your magic runes to draw and cast 20 different spells that can then be further modified and augmented by 600 upgrades to create truly formidable attacks.

As you progress through the game, you can also unlock familiars, concoct new potions to aid you in your fights, grow a garden and much more to improve your journey across the cosmos.

While doing all this, you will also run into fellow mages inside the manor, whom you can get to know and learn their abilities as you explore it while uncovering the secrets of the circle.

To aid you on this quest, you may employ a wide array of input devices to really hone your rune-drawing skills; these include mice, drawing tablets, touch screens, and even controllers. Accessibility settings are available for that final option, such as time slowed when drawing and button-press mode (which the developer says are both highly recommended if you want to play with a pad).
