I still use my launch SD pretty frequently, but I'm super super super looking forward to SD2. Had it not been for the price hike, I was considering an OLED model since I mostly use mine for streaming now. I just can't justify the new price without a major jump in performance.
Hell, I'd even welcome a PS Portal like device from Steam.
props for putting the title in the subject. It's exhausting seeing others post clickbait articles for FREE STEAM GAMES, but not putting the name in the title/subject.
I'm still excited for this. I'll be coming from a PSVR2 which will be an interesting move. LCD vs OLED worries me a bit.
The controllers alone seem like they might be amazing and a HUGE upgrade. I love the Steam Controller, but I've always wanted a 'split' controller option that wasn't tiny Nintendo controllers.
I'd still love to see a revision of this without the built in processing. Better lens, better screen, but still all the benefits of the Valve polish.

Re: Steam Controller Price Spikes After Valve Says New Orders Won't Arrive Until 2027
I reserved it back in June, but I've been on the 2027 list ever since lol. I got one with my Steam Machine, but would love a second.

I really wish they'd add FULL crossplay. My crew is still stuck on console for now so we can't play.
