The Walking Dead has had its fair share of video games over the span of its runtime; some great, and ones we would maybe rather forget, but from the demo I have played, I believe that The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival fits into the former category.
It's a charming pixel-art brawler inspired by the likes of Final Fight and Streets of Rage that doesn't take itself too seriously and plays well, with smooth animations paired with the classic Walking Dead atmosphere for a genuinely enjoyable time.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is a 2D arcade brawler that takes you on a journey alongside Rick Grimes and his crew as they challenge massive walker hordes and fight formidable enemies, such as the savage Saviours. Play as Rick with his iconic magnum, Michonne with her katana, Daryl with his crossbow, and the (unlockable) Negan with his infamous Lucille as you make your way through this reimagined all-out war.
You can unleash devastating melee attacks with these iconic weapons; wide swings hit multiple walkers, brutal finishers offer targeted destruction, and hard-hitting ranged attacks keep your enemies at bay.
Combining these is incredibly fun and provides for some really destructive combos to slay your enemies with, and with each character having their own signature weapon, there is quite a bit of variety. These will come in handy when taking on fan-favourite characters from across the franchise, such as Negan and Simon.
Once you have tested your mettle enough against these dangerous enemies, you can dive into the arcade challenge, which tests how much you really know about surviving the apocalypse. Alongside this, there is an additional "endless survival" mode, where you can take on the ominous "horde" and see how long you can survive.
Overall, The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival is a solid 2D brawler with some really charming visuals and gameplay that feels smooth and satisfying to play around with, especially when slashing at a huge horde of walkers. If this walker-slaying goodness sounds up your street, then check the demo out over on Steam; if you find that it is indeed your cup of tea, then look forward to the release on September 18th, when it can be purchased for £16.99.

I'll probably check this out if it's well rated.
It's a missed opportunity that they've yet to commission a "proper" survival game though. The one by Starbreeze sounded interesting, though that was pulled before I got to try it. The Telltale series was awesome and Saints & Sinners is some of the best VR I've played. Played a mobile one for a bit, a tactics type game, fun but the micro transactions were a money pit.
