How far has Epic fallen, from the first Unreal games to Unreal Engine 3, and now they are disgraceful and have been doing everything wrong for the last 10 years (from my point of view). I honestly dislike this company, while at the end of the nineties I was a fervent lover of Unreal Tournament. I don't care they made their launcher faster, there is not a single reality where I install their crap. Hope AI is the dawn of their fall, or they somehow reborn better.
I hope Steam will always stay independant and strong on Valve's side, not selling its soul to any terrible corporation which will try to screw the users. Steam has been and still is one of the most fairest platform for gaming for the last 15 years. They are kinda like Nintendo, they live at their own pace, do their things and they are trying to be a pleasant experience for everyone. Hope it stays that way forever. We don't need ***** in our daily lives
Assault Android Cactus is one of my favorite twin-stick shooters as well. I've been underwhelmed by the studio's new games embracing the cosy/casual road because their first game was truly a masterpiece ! I played most of the games presented here but I'll try Hardspace : Shipbreaker, didn't do this one but since the games you shared are legit and as you said stressful and difficult, it sparked a will inside me to try it
I wonder what I could recommend grabbing during the sale.. The previous games from "Thunder Lotus Games", the studio behind "Spiritfarer", "Jotun" and "Sundered" were both great games, I guess the games should be on sale for cheap as well, I suggest trying those if you haven't. Action games, Rogue-Like Metroidvania for Sundered, visually superb games, absolutely worth your time as well
Thank you for the article, Tower-Defenses are not my cup of tea but this one, mixed with Rogue-Lite elements seems at least interesting enough to go into the wishlist

Re: Welcome to Steam Hype!
Sweet, a Steam specialized website, good idea ! I hope to see a lot of indies covered, hoping to see a few games I didn't hear about yet.
